Tony the Zombie Tiger : Cereal Box Mascots of the Living Dead

Hey there Zombie Art Fans! Tony the Zombie Tiger says that your brains are GRRRREAT! And part of His complete breakfast! I'm really loving converting these long cherished, highly identifiable characters into the evil dead! I of course have my wonderful fans to thank for suggesting this series as it was after doing the "Fast Food Mascots of the Living Dead", that everyone suggested that this be my next project, and since I am a Zombie Artist of the people, the people get what they want!
This series will definitely include more characters as there seems to be a lot more cereal mascots than fast food mascots. The cereal ones tend to change over the years I find too. It seems that for corn puffs, there's been three different mascots in the last twenty years or so ranging from Whinnie the Pooh, to the "Sugar Smacks" frog. In any case I'm going to do my best to get all the major ones done, and if I still haven't lost any steam, I'll do some of the more obscure ones.
Thank you all for stopping in to Zombie Daily today everyone, I hope that you liked today's post, and I hope to see you all again very soon.

Zombie Template and Dead Head "Flo"

Hey there Zombie Art Freaks, Rob Sacchetto here to Zombify the world one day at a time! It's been a long time since I've really explained the whole idea behind the "Heads of the Living Dead" series. At the beginning, I had not actually thought of ever doing so many different versions of zombie heads for the series and it was sort of just a little exercise in creativity. Back then, I posted new "Heads" images with the skull template that you see here, showing the difference between the template and what I did over it to achieve the new zombie head it was based on. Somewhere along the line I decided to discontinue showing the skull template image in favor of simply having the new "Head" illustration take up the entire space, and deservedly so. Since the series expanded way past it's intended short run, many people have asked about it and I basically explain that I'm attempting to illustrate 365 different zombie heads based on one basic skull template. That's the deal. So here's today's new "Head of the Living Dead" image with the original skull template that I still use to this very day. I use it as an underlay and basically "trace" a new zombie head on a piece of watercolor paper placed on top of it. The new drawing is almost always an ad-libbed spontaneous illustration and I pretty much never know how it's going to look until it's finished. The wonderful thing about the process is the final drawing is mostly a complete surprise to me and that has made for some very interesting images.
I hope that you've all enjoyed today's post Zombie Nation, I hope to see you all back very soon!

Happy Presidents Day and Happy Family Day Zombies

Greetings fellow Zombie Art Fanatics! Whether it's Presidents Day in the USA or Family Day in Canada, one thing is for certain, they both spell Holiday!! So today I decided to give you all a two for one image celebrating both days! The family picture in black and white is from my Zombie Handbook, while the "living dead president" George "Dubya" Bush is from my Zombiewood Weekly book. I hope that you all enjoy today's image.
On another note, Radio and internet personality, Peter Anthony Holder, recently was kind enough to give me an audience with his listeners, and asked me a great many questions about the zombie business that I'm in. You can check out the full interview on his show "The Stuph Files" at, www.thestuphfile.com.
Thank you for stopping in today Zombie Nation, tune in tomorrow for a new Cereal Box Mascot of the Living Dead!

My Favorite Zombie Portraits : Kitty Zombie

Greetings Zombie Art Fans! Zombifying Pets is one of my favorite things, so much so that I actually charge less to do so! I really try to encourage folks to get their pet zombified with the reduction in price because really love the challenge. Drawing Zombie Animals is often a little trickier than humans, but it serves as a great bit of drawing diversity, that coupled with the fact that I simply don't think that there are enough zombie animals around. And speaking of Zombie Animals, I plan to do many more this year to create a much larger series for this amazingly fun sub-group of wild flesh eaters!
I hope that you've all enjoyed today's post, 'see you all again soon!

Pillar of Flesh

Hey there Zombie Art Maniacs! Once again I bring to you a new Zombie Babe Pinup. This drawing was done in a sort of style that I recently developed for myself that lets me really loosen up and get creative with lines and cursive gestures with inking, almost like I'm writing. I find that it allows me to explore neat little form describing shapes and interesting designs within the details.
I hope that you've all enjoyed today's post Zombie Nation, and I hope to see you all back again really soon!

Moss Mold Lichen Zombie

Hey there Zombie Art fans! Well, it's official, only 200 more Living Dead Heads to go, and I'll reach my goal of 365! Today's illustration was finished just minuets ago and is Zombie Daily's 1100th post!! I'm going to try my best to go the whole year with a post every day in 2012. It's going to be a huge challenge, but I'll see what I can do.
I'm going to keep it short today Zombie Nation, but I do thank you all for stopping in today to check out my newest zombie drawing. Be sure to stop by next week for a brand new Cereal Box Mascot of the Living Dead. I wont tell you when it'll appear but there will be at least one dropping next week! 'See you then!

Miss. Ghastly Hottie Zombie

Hey there Zombie Art Fans and fans of Hot Babe Zombies! Hey, I'm a fan of sexy Zombies too, that's probably why, out of the hundreds of new original living dead art posts on this site, many of them are of the resurrected babe variety. I hope that you don't mind as there will likely be many many more. It doesn't matter how many specific zombie series or Zombie Portraits I'm working on, I usually have one or two zombie woman drawings on the go in various states of completion. Simply put, they are just a favorite of mine.
Thank you all for stopping in today Zombie Nation, I hope to see you all again soon!

Heads of the Living Dead : Living Dead and Loving It

Hey there all you Rabid Zombie Art Fans! I'm back with more Living Dead Head action today! I think that I've got roughly 165 HotLd drawings left to go before I reach my goal of 365. I know that it does seem like a lot, but it wasn't that long ago that I was barely halfway there. I still have a number of surprise headed your way with this and other new art series here on Zombie Daily so I certainly hope that you all join me here each and every day of the week to check out what's in store.
And Speaking of "store" many people ask, "Do you sell prints of the artwork on Zombie Daily?" The answer is YES! Simply go to www.zombieportraits.com , scroll down right before you see the Zombie Daily feed, you'll see an area that you can order signed prints. Do check it out!
Thanks for stopping in today everyone, see you all next time!

Dead, Buried and Back for Valentines Day

Hey there all you Zombie Art Lovers! Valentines and Zombies go hand in hand so what better image to post than this lovely Zombie Babe waiting for her special gift of brains! Actually, this image is one of two new art designs that represent the Zombie News and Interest site "Dead Buried and Back". I really had an awesome time illustrating this one as I wanted to employ a very bold technique to really give the image strength and solidity. The fine folks at DBaB are using the image as a representative/logo type image so I wanted people to be able to see it from across the room. All the lines are thick and juicy and the drawing just exudes horror and sexuality in equal doses.
I thank you all for stopping in today Zombie Nation, and I hope to see you again real soon!

Franken Zomberry : From The Cereal Mascots of the Living Dead Series

Greetings all of you Zombie Art Fans out there in the Land of the Walking Dead! I promised the many many zombie fans out there that requested that after the "Fast Food Mascots of the Living Dead" series, that I turn my attention to the many cereal box mascots, and here is the first image of that promised series! They made him a monster...He made them BREAKFAST! He's the very first Steam Punk fused with Classic Movie Monster to represent a cereal, and he was loads of fun to zombify! I think that there will be many more from this series, so I really hope that you enjoy them.
Thanks for stopping in today Zombie Nation, I'll see you all next time right here on Zombie Daily!

Sadly...The Whitney Houston Zombie

Hey there Zombie Art Fans! I bring you the Whitney Houston Zombie, not out of disrespect for the recently dead, but as a tribute to her incredibly short life. I myself was never really into her brand of music, but I know that she did touch countless people with her inspirational songs. Whitney passed yesterday apparently due to problems arising from her sustained drug abuse, but I'm sure if you want to find out more, just turn on the news. Even after all of these years of being the "Zombie Portrait Guy" I still feel strange posting or even drawing a person who is no longer among the living, and especially someone so recently deceased, but I like to point out that this is the art that I do and for me it's a more a response to honor them rather than a parody or anything malicious. This imane by the way, was illustrated as a part of my "Zombiewood" book.
I hope that you've enjoyed today's post Zombie Nation, see you all again soon.

Heads of the Living Dead : Hunka Bunka Rotten Impersonator

Hey there Zombie Art fanatics! The Walking Dead returns this weekend to AMC and I must say that I'm pretty exited about it. If you haven't seen the series yet do check it out as it's one of the very best written shows on television today, and hey, it's got zombies!
I just wanted to add that this Monday, I will be posting the first image from my new zombie series right here on Zombie Daily! I hope that it's well received as I'm finding it to be a lot of fun to do. I should have a few finished entries for it tomorrow, with the first one being posted Monday.
Thanks for stopping in today everyone, see you again soon!

Poseable Zombie Babe

Hey there Zombie Art Lovers! Okay, here's the very last Zombie Pinup Babe held over from last year. I can now finally say that every new living dead girl will be from this years' crop. I find that every year that I return to an existing series, I really change the way that the art is executed. This is really an innate thing as I don't consciously set out to do that, but if you go all the way back through the history of Zombie Daily, you will see that I've changed the way that I've drawn Zombie Babes greatly from year to year. I'm actually kind of curios as to what I'll end up interpreting them as next.
Thaks for stopping by Zombie Nation, I hope to see you all again soon!

A Zombie Daily Blast from the Past : Suck It!

Greetings to all the Zombie Art Freaks out there in the Land of the Living Dead! I haven't posted a blast from the past image in quite some time so here's an illustration that was done way way back in good old 2009! This image has since been used for everything from tattoos to t-shirts and to me, was just one of those fun little one-off ideas that I ended up doing simply to have fun drawing a simple yet effective stand alone illustration.
By the way, right now I'm in the middle of doing a really fun new series that was suggested by a great number of fans, and since I am an artist for the people, I must do what the people request, of course often very much to my enjoyment. I hope you all like what's coming up!
Thank you all for stopping in to Zombie Daily everyone, I hope to see you all again soon.

Heads of the Living Dead : Zombie Eddie Spigetti

Greetings fellow Zombie Art Lovers! I told you I'd be covering some strange uncharted Zombie ground in this series! I really want to strive to bring you images that have never been done or seen before in the Zombie Universe, and why not a Zombie that vaguely looks like he was made of spaghetti? It could happen...It could be some strange form of zombie virus that formed a cohesive bond with a Chef Boyardee factory worker...:) These are the questions I'll be answering as the Heads of the Living Dead series continues! Of course, I do want to have fun while doing these too, so stay tuned for more strangeness here on Zombie Daily!
Thanks for stopping in today to check out my newest daily posting, see you again soon!
