Rob Sacchetto was born and raised in the northern mining community of Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. He has spent some 20 years dedicated to the visual arts and has worked in a variety of mediums, including illustrated film, television, comic book illustration and concept design.

The idea of Zombie Portraits came to Sacchetto following a high realism portrait commission. He was working on his Know Your Zombies poster at the same time… So, he decided to combine portraiture and zombies… and thus Zombie Portraits were born.
